Charma Stang,
She previously practiced at a large national firm and has provided legal services to private and public companies, not-for-profit organizations, government related entities and post-secondary institutions. Her clients operate in various industries including forestry, technology, transportation, manufacturing, retail sales, construction and equipment manufacture and leasing.
In addition to her private practice experience, Charma has over seven years of in-house counsel experience at a large, Edmonton-based utility. She advised the company with respect to a broad range of matters including: procurement, construction, leasing, real estate acquisitions, land matters, IP and IT, environmental, and Internal policies and procedures
More recently, her primary role was supporting the company’s business development group on projects and acquisitions including public-private partnerships and design-build-finance-operations and maintenance agreements for industrial and municipal clients. Charma draws on this breadth of experience to quickly assimilate information and formulate a path forward that meets her client’s needs.
